Subtle, crude, huge and small, but mostly quiet. Half abandoned and half hopeful, Lincoln County is a place where curiosity and patience are well rewarded. Beyond antique facades of dilapidated stores, off the pavement, near mine roads and trails, one can walk on ancient ground but not feel impatient about geological time.
